About Me
So I thought I would do a little list about me because I am vain. Also because while I am pretty much an open book in this blog, I sometimes think I might come across as: vapid, highly strung, interested only in reality TV and a poor man's Martha Stewart. While all of those points in that list are true, there are other things about me that some of you might not know. And before you ask, yes, I was Janeane Garofolo in the 90's. So many of us were.
Places I have lived: Born in Ottawa, at 2 moved to Bucharest, at 5 moved to Düsseldorf, at 9 moved to Ottawa, at 12 moved to Vienna, at 16 moved to Moscow, at 18 moved to Toronto and at 23 moved back to Vienna.
Favourite food: Pizza (most of you know that...especially because I talk about it at least once a week).
Favourite alcoholic beverage: Red wine or white wine spritzer or Champagne/Sekt... and sometimes beer.
Favourite sports: love to watch tennis and Formula One (been a fan for almost 20 years), baseball...and pageants.
Favourite books: Lolita (read this one at least once a year), To Kill a Mockingbird (has been years since I have read this but die a little inside when I think about it), The Great Gatsby (Also liked the film from a couple of years ago (dry sobbed in the cinema)), any book by Jen Lancaster. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Favourite films: French Kiss, Under the Tuscan Sun, most James Bond films, the first 3 of Indiana Jones films, Mean Girls, Young Frankenstein, Practical Magic... so many more.
Personality traits: Sensitive, Outgoing, Not shy, I use humour as a defence mechanism, I easily forgive and move on after a short period, I give second chances, I might come on too strong, I laugh like a hyena. I love animals and people, I am confident in myself besides my looks. Never my looks. Good thing I have PERSONALITY! I can also make fun of myself.
Natural hair colour: No clue.
Weight: Ahahaha.
Eye colour: One blue one green and they would have burned me at the stake back in da day.
Height: 5 foot 2
Dream job: Writer. I've always wanted to be a writer and the idea of working from home to have more time with the Kid would be a dream. Or be a high priced escort... good hours.
Favourite holidays: First Halloween, second Christmas.
Favourite fashion house: Chanel
Disturbing celebrity crushes: Eric Roberts, Thomas Ravenel (I can't even defend this one), Johnathon Rhy Meyers.
Acceptable celebrity crushes: Paul Rudd, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, George Clooney, Alan Rickman's voice.
Personal Motto: What would Martha Stewart do. AND, There are 24 hours in a day.
Personal goals: Learn to relax, stop stalking people on the Internet, finish book, learn to fold a fitted sheet, make a perfect pizza crust.
