24 Days of Christmas Challenge Tova Style

Well hello Wednesday! If you listened to last week's podcast, you would have heard about my 24 day challenge. I am happy to say that I have already completed a couple of them and tonight I will be checking off Bridget Jones off my list. I am trying my darndest to get into the holiday spirit and it is kind of working. Below is the list and if you want more of an explanation of each challenge, you are going to have to check out my podcast. Sorrryyyy...

There is still a lot to do and I have more presents to buy. I am about to ship a big old box off to Canada for my family. I did decide to not ship a bazillion books as I usually do at Christmas time. Books are heavy, mail is expensive so it is not a good idea, Tova. In other news, we had a parent teacher conference on Monday night and it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Let's just say that one of his after school providers showed up with a bandaged arm. Our hearts broke a little. You can hear all about it tomorrow on the podcast. Oh joy of parenting. Also, I must apologize for the sound quality of the last episode with Johnny Morgan. It was in a bar and that was a bit of a mistake. But at least there was beer... sweet sweet beer. As I mentioned up above, tonight will be a Bridget Jones night and I cannot wait.

Tonight will be pretty low key as I am out tomorrow at a fancy Christmas party and then on Saturday I will be dropping by for drinks at a friend's place and then going to a friend's big 4-0 party after. Friday will also be pretty decadent since I am taking my friend out for her birthday in the afternoon. It's a secret: she doesn't know what we will be doing. Heh. I told her to dress warmly but nice. She asked "Can I wear yoga pants?" and I responded with "Do they look like real pants?" Good thing she already lubs me. So I will definitely need to be going into detox mode after Christmas. Maybe. In other news, we are once again having the Santa event for kids with special needs at the Hard Rock Cafe on the 16th of December. Last year was amazing and the Kid surprised us by sitting on Santa's lap with absolutely no prompting. He knows how to network. This week I was in a bit of a panic because I could not find a Santa. But luckily so many people are awesome and I was able to secure one (offering money helps). He seems lovely and I am confident he will do a great job!

I hope you all have a great rest of the week. No doubt I will be posting about my liver sometime in the next few days. That will be fun! I will of course continue with my 24 day challenge and you can see most of the pictures of Instagram. The hashtag is #24daysofChristmas if that helps. I heard that helps for the social media. Cough. Anyway, thanks for reading, thanks for listening and thanks for the support! Toodles for now!

P.S. Feel free to steal any of these ideas for your own Christmas bucket list!!
